Well, my 680i mobo also only displays 2 dashes when I do not have the CPU in it, so it might be a problem with the way the CPU is connected. Are any of the pins bent or missing?

When I looked at it, everything looked fine. I'm going to try disassembling and reassembling one more time and if I cant figure it out, I think I am just going to get replacement parts.

yes, the GPU turns on and everything, just don't get a display.

your video card could be in the wrong PCI slot, my motherboard requires it to be in one of the three slots

I do not think that is the problem with his chipset. Besides, it is supposed to run SLi, so either one of the two slots would work.

Well guys I got everything figured out. Not sure exactly what was wrong, but I think the CPU was seated incorrectly. Luckily I didn't bend any pins! Thank you all for the help, the computer is running great now.

Just like Infin1ty said, the problem is solved. It was the CPU.
