Firewall wokr around?

I have a web hosting account with a control panel on port 2082. However my company's firewall blocks traffic through 2082. Does anyone know of a work around? Would it be possible for me to go through a 'middle man' using port 80 through my firewall and port 2082 on my middle man?

Does this make any sense?

if the control panel is a HTML (web page style) control panle try using a web based proxy such a www.hidemyass.com (there is a whole list on http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml)

WHy don't you ask the IT guys to allow that through? Could be better than losing your job. That's just me.

Yes, that would be better than losing your job! I guess so long as you did it in your lunch break or somthing, there shouldn't be a problem
