Alright, so I found an old heat-sync (Or however you spell it), of mine. And I really need to know how and with what to attatch it to my processor. It's nothing fancy, it's just a piece of finned metal that is the same size as the processor. I know I've seen them attach these types of heat sinks (syncs whatever) to processors with a putty or glue material, but I wanna make sure that I am doing the right thing with the right materails.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

You never use thermal glue to attach a heat sink to a processor. It is a permanent solution. Go out and buy yourself a new one that is designed to fit on your CPU.
