FFVII Crisis Core

So crisis core is out for awhile, and i still havent played it yet, well i did, but up to the point when the training was over. I was thinking of beating the original FFVII before playing CC just as a refreshment. But CC is a prequel, but the people who never played FFVII and only played CC have a different perspective of what happened after CC.
From a psp post that i posted not that long ago, seems like everyone here that replied know about CFW. and i have FFVII on my psp as an eboot. Should i Play FFVII to refresh my memory or just play CC then play FFVII seeing how its a prequel.
But the Zack's american kinda bothers me, the others did a pretty good job doing the voiceovers. But i think its because i played and saw the japanese version first.
