Favorite web programming language

I use php since 2004, and it's a good language. But without javascript and XML you can't make great websites. Optimizations for google it's made with XML (I refer to xml feed or sitemaps). Javascript it is used for Ajax, Validations, etc. So, all languages working together. Perl it's out of this list.

The topic of this thread IS kind of misleading, given the choices in the poll.

MySQL/MSSQL are databases.:mad:

XML is a markup language, not a programming language.:mad:

MY personal favorite and one I have been using since 1998 is Java, and all it's aspects (JSP's, Spring, etc.).

A programming language is a vocabulary and set of grammatical rules for instructing a computer to perform specific tasks

Markup languages like XML, HTML or troff, which define structured data, are not generally considered programming languages.

I'm not sure about :MySQL

my favourite are:
1. php (for the most sites)
2. actionscript (flash effects)
3. python

I do not like such programs like DreamViewer...
I like my fingers =)

I haven't experience using that kind of language except the php..I have just started learning on php but others don't know yet..As i didn't know some other language..i would go to php..

I'm going to say HTML for now since it is the only language I currently know, after I learn some more my opinion might change.
