Here's an interesting mod that I picked up.
Flip your PSU. Yeah, flip it over, and cut a blowhole (well, suckhole) for its intake.
This way, your PSU is sucking in cooler air, which makes it run cooler. Cooler = more stable.
To make up for the exhaust you lose, put in a blowhole exhaust, or a fan in the door placed at the top.
