external hard drive that is compatible with windows 7

I am looking for a 1T external hard drive that works well with windows 7. In some reviews I have read some consumers are having trouble. Now I am not a computer guru so want something affordable. I have been using a Simple Tech for years but it is not big enough to hold all my videos. I take alot of videos of my cockatiels. I need to buy one asap

I haven't really seen any externals that have had issues with Windows 7. My friend did have one that had issues, but that was a very very early Western Digital MyBook that he just put in a different enclosure and worked fine. Haven't seen any that have had issues with Win7 specifically since that.
