External Hard Drive problem.

did the reboot without the drive connected. Nothing. I'm begining to think that this thing totally commited suicide.

if the file system is showing up as raw doesnt that mean it isnt formatted?

Technically yea it would mean it isn't formatted.. but it was perfectly formatted and fine before this happened. Did something totally screw up the file system when my computer crashed? I really didn't think the external drive had anything to do with it. Ah, this sucks.
