explorer.exe & iexplorer.exe mem usage

iexplorer would vanish from the task manager if you were not running Internet Explorer at the time (thats what it is)

00 on the CPU usage? Are you sure? Explorer by the way is what you see as windows (the start bar, icons, etc)

I'm getting 00% on CPU usage using 468 K so I believe him. I thought it might be a heating issue but seeing that disabling Hyper Threading helped...... I wonder why it would cause that problem. Does HT generate more heat?

i disabled the ht tech in the bios.
i have noticed that iexplorer.exe has vanished from the task manager, is that strange?
explorer.exe is still there and showing 00 on the cpu usage.
