ebay question

It's really easy. When someone buys an item from you, get the PayPal thing taken care of first.

As soon as you ship that product out to him through UPS or FedEx, they will provide you with a tracking number on your reciept. You email that person the tracking number that is on there so they can track the package. It is not automatically sent to the buyer. Remember, you initiate everything on eBay. If you do a good job of that, you will get a positive feedback for performing a flawless transaction.

For me, as soon as I drop it off at the UPS Store, I come back, log onto eBay, contact the buyer (via email that is shown through his eBay account), send tracking and tell him it's on the way, blah, blah, have a nice day.

I wait after that. I will give him positive feedback first for paying on time and PayPal is cleared. He will then give me back positive feedback when he gets the package (assuming the prodcut itself is in excellent condition and UPS does it's job of delivery).
