DVD Question

I have a 16x DVD±R Burner, and I would like to know that if I have blank DVD+R discs, will I be able to burn DVD-R dics into them or not? Also do you guys recommend DVD+R or DVD-R discs?

DVD + R and DVD - R's are different

for movies i burn with DVD + r's

I have heard that xbox games get burnt with DVD - R's

You cant use a DVD+R to burn into DVD-R's. They are two totally different formats. All you need to know is that DVD+R's have some technical advantages over the DVD-R format. Other than that DVD+R's are equal to DVD-R's. However, a lot of standalone dvd players have trouble reading DVD+R's so burn movies using DVD-R's.
