I have an old Mintek 1600 DVD player that my brother gave me. It works great but just today the door decided not to open anymore. There aren't little pin holes in front to stick a paperclip through like on a computer so I can't get the stupid door to open. I am going to open it up and see if something can be done that way and if anything just to get the rented DVD out of the thing so I can return it.
But does anyone have any suggestions on what could be going on here and how to fix this?
This exact problem happened to my last DVD player about a year ago, which is why my brother gave me this one. My other DVD player was much more expensive so that one breaking like that was very annoying.
