dvd drive ??????????

o.k I just bought a cd?dvd combo drive thinking that it was also a dvd burner as well as a cd burner but it is not and the company where I got it from is a bit iffy about taking it back (I only got it this morning ) any way as it reads dvd s is there anyway to convert it to write dvds too

Without totally disassembling it and putting in new guts, no.

I suggest going out and buying a burner if they won't take back this drive.

pretty much because without a hell of a lot of equipment determination and several degrees its probably never gonna burn dvds. just go buy a DL dvd burner and then at least u can do on the fly burning using the first drive you bought. or u could use it as an ugly paper weight, its up 2 u.
