Hey got a question
My friend wanted me to look at his computer i put an old er vid card i had into it.
now he also wanted me to upgrade his cpu and what not so he took the heatsink off now when he did that(the computer is proprietary)(sp?) so when he pulled the heat sink off it was thermal pasted to the heatsink and it ripped the cpu out of its socket without lifting the lock arm. I put it back in and everything but now his computer wont even start? could the cpu have been damaged when he ripped it out ? and if it wasnt that, what could be causing it to not start? yea its a basic newb question but hes sitting here and wants me to ask haha
