Dual Monitors & Sound

Is there anyway to get sound on one speaker for one monitor, and sound for another monitor on the 2nd speaker.

My sister usually likes to watch a movie downstairs on my computer, and I have dual monitors so she watches on one screen, while I do my thing on the other one. Only problem is I don't get sound because she's "using" it.

Which operating system do you use? I'm pretty sure that you can output a program's audio through a specified sound-card if you are running vista/W7
