Hi Guys,

I have a 80GB HDD which is split into a number of partitions.
C - WindowsXP (14GB)
D - Backup (9.5Gb)
E - Applications (28.6GB)

and three 'minor' other partitions 9.53Gb, 12.4Gb & 1.88Gb

My windows partition is currently installed with Windows XP SP2. I would like to install Windows 2000 on a seperate partition for 'testing/development' purposes however I usually install the older operating system first.

Can I install an older version of Windows on my PC if so how can I do this? I'd like to install this onto the partition D - 'Backup' as 9.5Gb will be enough for the O/S and other applications I will need to install.

Thanks in advance

Hmmmm....
Well you will have to install windows 2000 before you install xp pro. After you have done this go into the system properties and choose to boot to your first drive. IN the windows xp setup make sure that you have chosen for it to install in a different place or disaster will strike you.
