dsl disconnects????

a good friend of mine has been stressed out about his dsl. it seems that at 11pm everynight, his dsl will randomly disconnects some programs and still allow others. then around midnight, everything goes down.....

we called the tech support just to get a bunch of stupid answers.

its the weirdest thing....i had to witness this for myself....and sure enough....everything goes down, while the router still says it gettin a signal, and the cable modem says the same thing....

i brought over my labtop and connected to his dsl line and it did the same thing to mine....

we even disconnected the router and did a striaght connect to the modem....still disconnects.....

anyone have any clue as to why this happens????

that sounds realy strange,
you say that it does it while on modem as well?
are the sites that shut down of adult content?
it sounds like your isp is the only way to go if it happens on both yours and your friends computer.
