I am working on my older computer and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to properly set the dram settings. I have an old Soyo Dragon KT600 Plus v. 1.0

The ram I have is a Geil 2 X 256mb, DDR400 2-6-3-3

Mobo Settings

DRAM Clock: 200mhz
DRAM Timing: Manual
DRAM CAS Latency: ??
Bank Interleave: ??
Precharge to Active: ??
TRAS Non-DDR400/DDR400: ??
Active to CMD TRCD: ??
DRAM Burst Length: ??
DRAM Command Rate: ??
Write Recovery Time: ??
TWTR for DDR400 Only: ??
DRAM Access Time: ??

I would sure love to get this thing to run stable for a change. Can anyone help me with this? Thank You All Very Much!

Not trying to overclock, but this thing doesn't have an "auto". It has "manual" and set by "spd"

Thanks,
Don

Select "Set by SPD". That will set the timings to the manufacturer's specifications.

SPD is Serial Presence Detect, It refers to a small chip located on the memory stick that stores the timings, manufacturer, serial number and other useful information about the module.
