Another downfall of a centralist authoritarian government...

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan - President Askar Akayev's government collapsed Thursday after opposition protesters took over the presidential compound and government offices, throwing computers and air conditioners out of windows in a frenzy of anger over corruption and a disputed election.

Yeah, I saw it in the news. They have chaos over there.

The president has left the contry I heard.

I also saw that on this evenings broadcast, its really frantic over their. The footage of the police beating the protester, reminds me of a documentry on Pinochet we just watched in Political Studies.

Akayev was a very corrupt leader like Kuchma in Ukraine. One problem: There isn't a potent opposition figure in this case. At least one that has not risen up to the challenge. Just a bunch of obscure, little known leaders.

The potent opposition figure was the body of thousands of disenfranchised citizens who had had it up to the eyeballs with the corruption.

Look, there is no Saakashvili or Viktor Yushchenko...
