Dose anyone know how to put an "avatar" on the posts?

I've been trying to put a signature image under my screenname for weeks now. And ive had no luck finding it on the help totourial of this site. And as you can see, the "Free your Mind......."
thing bellow was yet another failed attempt.

I could use some help.....

I figured it out. But, i still having trouble putting a picture in my signature.

Dose anyone know of any free servers that i can put a simple picture in?
