Dogs have feelings too

Yeah, it's sad that someone hit the dog and didn't stop, but what are you going to do if you do stop? If the owner isn't with it, how would you find the owner if there even was one. I recently ran over what I thought might be a cat at night. It was sitting on the other side of the road and then all of a sudden runs under my car at the last second, not enough time for me to react... What am I going to do if I stop? Look at it? It's dead with no owner in sight. Yeah, I was sad that I ran over a cat knowing that it probably belonged to a family, but what can I do, if it sat where it was as I passed I wouldn't have hit it. Something similar probably happened with this dog, the same thing that happens down here with deer and all kinds of animals...

but dogs usually have tags with the owner information on them.

its most probably a stray.. i volunteer at a sanctuary whenever i can have the free time to do so (work takes up alot of my time), and i love it up there.. we get all sorts in, from strays to abused animals.. and every one of them stays until they can find a home, since i have been volunteering there, not one animal has been put down for something that is not health related.. not something you can say about the RSPCA or PETA, or other corporations like that.. the second you try to make a profit out of looking after the animals, and start getting greedy the whole point of it goes. i love animals, have two lizards and my dog (who i adopted from the sanctuary). i have done the last 4 years at christmas day and boxing day, as well as new years day.. just cause its christmas, that doesnt mean the animals dont need cleaning and feeding..

the people that bought my pup in didnt want her cause she was nibbling them.. how the hell can you get a pup and expect it not to nibble??

and cummon, how can any sane person give up this face...

this is a sad series of pics, and just goes to show that animals have feelings too..

Dogs always had some reactions and feelings. Personally, I would have used the fork lifting method and put it on side. Of course, here goes some hand and arm wash.

theres more emotion shown by that dog than any of the people in those photos.
