Does Anyone Know to manipulate a Windows Client...

....remotely from Windows Server 2008 r2? I am able obviously to pull shares from server to client. I need a simplistic way of being manipulate the client from the server. I can do this through Remote Desktop, but this incapacitates the client computer. There has to be a better way. Can someone tell me an easy way of being able to see the client from Windows Server 2008 r2?

what type of manipulations are you wanting to do
as most things can be rolled out from the server/policies and don't need remote access to make changes

If you're in a corporate environment, and don't want to pay for licenses for remote software.. setup UltraVNC. It's free/open source.

Otherwise, TeamViewer or LogMeIn are two that come to mind that are free for personal use, but must be purchased for commercial use.
