ok so I have a 200w power supply on the following system.
Socket 754
Sempron 2.0
2 CD drives
Radeon 9600pro AGP
Tuner Card
2 Fans
120 GB p-ata hard drive
so im gusessing 200 watts is too small
I have a non 4 pin psu that is 250 watts
So I was just wondering if a psu with no 4 pin cpu connector would work before i go frying my system

Cheap and good never comes under the same sentence usually :(

You can probably pick up a good powersupply that offers good wattage for around $80-$90 most likely (around £50 here)

Though, your system will probably only need a 400 watt. I would personally go for a 600 watt or something though, because you'd probably use it in your next system too if you were to ever build one.

OF course. If you see a 500W for 15 bucks, I'd tell you to stay away from it, but if you get a 400W for 45 bucks, that's more decent.
