Do actions speak louder than words?

I'm referring to the debates. Specifically do the debates help you make up your mind who to vote for President in the US?

I think most people already have their minds made up and are familiar with the records (the action) of both men. The candidates are speaking to those who haven't made up their minds.

Not interested in who you're voting for. Just whether you find the debates a factor in your
voting decision.

The debates are not a factor in my vote, because I decided long ago who will get my vote.

However, the debates are a major factor for independents, and undecided voters who are the people who really swing elections these days.

This country is so polarized, that a 3% vote one way or the other will determine the winner.

I agree with Hameister where debates will help decide how a swinging voter will vote.
Also actions do speak louder than words at times.

It depends on what the actions are and what the words are....

Well it depends. However, everyone knows that it's easier to talk than to act. And I don't care what a person has to say, if the same person is not going to do like it was said.
