directX question

i downloaded a trial benchmark testing software, and when i when to run the test it says my video doesnt support directx 10. My computer is a laptop with a Geforce 7400 moble card, and it had win vista but i put in a new hard drive and installed win 7. I thought that card would at lease support directx 10?

The whole geforce 7 series only supported DX9 and lower. It does not meet the hardware requirements for DX10 or 11.
