Is it included with Vista? I saw nothing about it in the Windows website. When is it comming out? Cause the only reason I am getting Vista is for Direct X 10

Yeah, it comes with Windows Vista, but it won't be used unless you have a DirectX 10 compatible video card.

There is another type of Direct X in Vista though, called Direct X 9 EX. I believe that'll be used with standard Direct x 9 cards.

So those that dont bother with Vista cant get directX10???? Even if you have a card compatible with it?

You won't be able to take the advantage of DX10 unless you get Vista, or if they release Service Pack 3 for XP, which I won't be suprised if they dont.

Microsoft has already stated that DirectX 10 will be Vista exlusive, so don't even bother hoping that Service Pack 3 will bring DirectX 10 capabilities. :)
