Self-serve directory set up
Planning to set up a directory website that enables businesses to add their own details and costs for services
Want to allow enable customers to make bookings and for businesses to allocate availability
Want to be able to take booking fees / payment
Want to enable feedback / reviews to take place
Ideally looking to get up automated processes for communications with appointment reminders and feedback emails etc

What are the best options for this.
Ideally looking for scaleable option – are there any off the shelf systems available?

For a self-serve directory website with the functionality you described, considering a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress along with relevant plugins could be a viable and scalable option. WordPress offers a wide array of plugins, such as WooCommerce for handling payments, Booking Calendar for appointment scheduling, and various review plugins for feedback and reviews.

You can also explore themes and customizations tailored to directory websites. Another scalable solution could involve utilizing a platform like Drupal or Joomla, which offer robust customization and plugin options to tailor your directory site to your needs. It's important to thoroughly research and test these options to ensure they align with your specific requirements and scalability needs.

Do you really think that now, 3 years later, is the best time to start giving advice.
And even more so when you look and see that it was a completely random spammer.
