I'm looking to download Vista ultimate however i'm confused on the editions. What is the difference between X86 retail and the X64 retail version? I'm looking for the 64 bit version.
Well if your gonna download it, good luck trying to get it functional. I hear Vista is sorta retarded and crack-induced whilst non-activated..
64 bit editions will enable you to take advantage of the 'few' games that utilize 64 bit code or w/e.. personally, I have not found 64 bit games to much faster than 32 bit if at all.
But as far as I know, all 32 bit software runs on 64 bit OSs.. so you may as well get the 64 bit version so that you can run more stuff.
I've found something to stop the 30day timestop so thats not a big deal. Just curious what X64 and X86 are. I would think X64 means 64bit right? But whats X86?
