Desperately looking for help.

My main computer is refusing to boot up and I have absolutely no idea why. I have replaced the C-Mos battery, I've even replaced the HDD but the problem still persists.

It will sometimes take me to the options via F4, I have tried Safe load and Last Successful load. Once it actually loaded for the latter but then my wife turned off the machine and I'm back to square one!:O)
On the occasion it DID load it took ages from getting the Loading Windows to actually loading.

I would REALLY appreciate f someone could get this fixed as I am completely stumped.

My apologies!! I am running Win7, a 500GB HDD which has a minimum of usage so plenty of memory.

Did you format and reload the Operating System? Or do a system restore if there were disks that came with the computer?

(be warned this will cause a loss of data)

On fitting the HDD I did complete format as per the Win 7 disk.

I had fitted memory prior to this as one of them had gone u/s. Not sure if this may be causing it?
