Humm....you don't need to use Quotient Rule on that. You can re-write it as -(x^(-2)) and use Power Rule. Much simpler. You get: 2(x^(-3)) -> 2/(x^3)

edit: Quotient rule would work though.

That's the thing with Calculus. Everything that you've learned so far comes into application. You have to sort what will work best from what won't. Fortunately, for me, I didn't take Pre-Calculus so I don't have as many tools, therefore it's easier for me to identify what I have to do. I get on things right away =p.
