defragging bad for certain files?

As the subject says: is defragging bad for files? (I've noticed movies are quite blurry since I started really defragging). If so, how can I clean them up?

No it's fine. All your data is binary, it's either there or it's not, it won't blur or anything.

one time, i had xfire on while i defragged and it turned all my scroll bars skinny...

One time defragging caused my cow to turn inside out...shortly afterwards it then imploded.....other then that nothing too odd....

Yea, since then I've recruited the experienced professionals over at Geek Squad to do the job. Now the cows explode instead of implode...it's much more humane.
