Default Monitor Problem

I have an AOC Spectrum Series 4s Monitor.
The problem is that it will only ever be recognized as a default monitor even if I use the substitute drivers that the AOC site says to use (NEC 3FG Driver).
The highest resolution it is reported to go up to is 3200x1200,
but I can never go over 800x600 (screen freaks out over that).

I am using a Radeon 64mb 7000 card. I have also tried several other cards to see if it was a video problem.

Any ideas on how to get this working properly, or has anyone got a driver for the 4s.

If its not an NEC monitor don't use an NEC driver. If it did not come with drivers, return it.
