The V6 is a better cooler than the dark knight, and pretty much always beating the H50, a closed loop water cooler, except for the odd occasion at stock.

As I said, the closed loop water coolers are gimmicks, a decent air cooler is just as good or better, and the V6 is the best that you can get for the money, unless you can get a decent priced Venomous X

The latest revision of the TRUE comes with a single 1600 RPM fan while the V6GT comes with two 2200RPM fans capable of going up to 2200 RPMs. Testing them like this shows their abilities out of the box, but not how the heatsinks truly compare against each other. This is good for those that want to buy a cooler and be done with it, but it doesn't paint the whole picture.

Even though some of the benches include variable fan speeds and also show that when at very low RPM, it still beats the TRUE?

From one of your links, the TRUE beats the V6GT by roughly 3 degrees Celsius when it is at 1100 RPM. They are still different fans so the playing field isn't level.

You can't really go wrong with either, but the V6GT is a better value out of the box depending on what fans you stick on the TRUE if you decide to replace them. It's just that with the testing methods used by these review sites they don't tell you which cooler is better using the same fans.
