DDR3 Ram Problem

Hi

I have a DDR3 motherboard and i have just bought some ram for it and the ram size is loads smaller than the RAM slot. I think i have bought a 204 pin ram but the slot is 240 pin. Is there any way to get the 204 pin to work in the 240 pin slot?

Quite simply, no.

You have to use DDR3 240 pin RAM in a DDR3 240 pin slot.
