For those of you who have used it, I need your help. My router linksys wrt54g2 does not have static IPs to clients (which is something I want). Does DD-WRT add this? I'm having no other issues so I don't want to install that if it doesn't add what I want.

I am using the latest firmware.

Static IP's are something you set on the client, not the router. However DD-WRT does have static DHCP if you want to take that as a shortcut.

Really? That's good to know. Only reason I assumed it was a possible firmware thing was because my old DI-624 by D-link could set up a static IP by MAC address in the router.

That feature your referring to is static DHCP
