damn messenger service

any1 know how to block messneger service? i keep getting popups while im playing warcraft3 and it minimizes my game, and i usually end up losing a hero or something it always happens while im doing something important, grr!!!!!! i dont really want to have to run ad-watch, but is that the only way? please let me know if u have had the same prollem, thnx

You can go to Control Panel and click Administrative Tools.. then click on services.

Scroll down until you find Messenger. right click and choose properties and then diable and stop the service.
