Hello all,

A friend of mine has a D-Link DSL G604T wireless router at home and uses it to connect two notebook computers to the Internet.

Since the 26th of December, he can't connect to the Internet. He contacted his ISP and they told him that his connection is being reset every 1:30 minutes.

They suggested that it might by some software that's doing it, but he told me that nothing new is installed on the machines. He also told me that this happens if some of the two notebooks tries to access the router, no matter what.

Do you have any ideas of what this can be?

Thank you all.

Regards,

very strange

Have bt checked the line?

If they are suggesting you are causing the problem try booting in safe mode with networking and see if that cures the problem.
Ie a process running in the background like Anti virus searching for updates that maybe corrupt.

I fyour running xp with sp2 you could try doing a system restore see if that cures the problem.

Sorry i cant help any more
