i get those things too, pink and black checkered and all. i eventually found out that its from my aim window, u shouldnt have anything docked when playing steam games.

Never heard of it. Probably custom made, and never fully finished. Or when he uploaded it, a texture wasnt correcntly uploaded. Either way i think its safe to say that, you cant avoid it.

Never heard of it that map is old school!!! its from from 1.6 some ppl made
some remakes for Source really fun map you should play it.

And about he textures maybe some servers give you wrong parts
of the textures thats why they apear pink there usually custom
textures try downloading it again from the server or just on a web page.

i have that sometimes too. Smetimes it also looks like, the reflection mapping on textures for some reasons is pink, i think it's just an error in the source code.
