Hello all
I've always been interested in cryptography and eventually want to get a job involving that. The problem is that I know basically nothing on it, so can anyone suggest a good starting point?
Thank you.

Join the military... They can teach you all there is on it, depending on what field of it you wish to go... You can also see if any government agencies are taking entry level positions.

BUT if you are looking into the computer cryptography... Then I would start with the local university, for a computer science degree.

Ah, thanks for the advice.
I forgot to mention that I am currently studying a computer science course at uni. I was just wondering if there was anything extra that I could do.
Thanks

You can always looking into the Cyber Security consulting sector. I have heard of some here in the states that take a promising student into the fold during the summer as an intern. Maybe there is something like that over on your side of the pond.
