Wait till they come out with Quad 775 server boards , kinda like the gigabyte royale Quad Opteron processor, so 4 Dual core optys for Octa core.

So with quad 775 boards.

XP Pro supports 32 cores.

It's just SMP, if an OS supports SMP, that means it can balance loads across more-than-one processor. Is 4-cores more than one processor? YES ITS 4.

I saw that, every single multithreaded program the kentsfield just whooped the **** out of everything. I think in a couple of benchmarks the 2.66Ghz Quadro beat the x6800.
