Core 2 (Conroe) vs Athlon FX-62 Benchmarks

I currently use the Intel Core 2 Extreme (2.93) X6800 (specs)
sSpec Number:SL9S5

PCG:05B
Bus Speed:1066 MHz
Bus/Core Ratio:10

Core Voltage:0.850V-1.3525V

This processor runs at very low temps so the opportunity to overclock is fairly easy. I overclocked mine 15% with a Hyper6+ and it stays steady at 47C-49C at 100%load

And it blows the pants off anything it runs, All my benchmarks compared to my brothers Athlon 64 FX62 (Practically same system hardware) beats it by nearly 30-40% in everything it does. I think AMD is going to have to put some heads together to over-turn Core 2

As for the Quad-SLI, I run it on a 24" with no problems so I know that one. But smaller than that I am not sure. I have a 20" in storage, prob gonna test it out

You sure have a lot of money don't you? Haha, you can even afford a Blu-Ray drive?! The cheapest desktop drive I've seen costs about $999.

Eh, Quad SLI is still a gimmick. Personally, all multiple GPU setups are gimmicks. They're expensive, eat up tons of power and noisy.
