If your overclocking your CPU I reccomend, if your case supports it, putting an 80mm or 120 mm fan sucking air in and blowing it on the CPU, also I expect your using a cheap CPU cooler? If your going to overclock you want to spend around £25 on a CPU fan and heatsink, also use thermal paste too.

i dont have a case fan blowing directly on the cpu but i have a 120mm on the front sucking air in and a 120mm on the back sucking air out and the heat sink and fan on the cpu is just the one that came with the cpu

you could try zalman's 7000 or 7700 All-copper heatsink. or Therlmalright XP-90.
