cooling down a laptop

Laptop gets hotter by the day, now that summer approaches, i already had some hardware failure (hard disk) due to the high temperatures, so what do you suggest?

What do you think about that: Zalman ZM-NC1000 Ultra Quiet Notebook Cooler
I've heard its a good solution.. and it's zalman!

Any other solutions besides the above?

I bought a laptop cooler from Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more! for around $20-$30. The brand is Cool solutions. I wish i could find my exact model, but it has two fans, and its black. Usually i could fry some eggs on the bottom of my dell E1705, but this makes it cool to the touch. Search on newegg for laptop coolers or cool solutions, and also read reviews.

i would change your thermal paste and clean out the inside of the laptop before you start buying random things for it

Do as my freind did and stick an ice pack under it change every 2hours or so, but i would stick with what sylwek said, if not, and a fan or replace it, or you can get a cooler for your laptop
