Converting win7 laptop to desktop
I have a working MOBO/CPU/RAM/brick PSU an SSD. This is the LT that’s cooling fan was clogged up w/ dust. I ended up ruining the LT by messing up a couple ribbon cables when reassembling.
Recently attempted to boot up using a VGA cable connected to a monitor it never booted.
Could these disconnected broken ribbon cables prevented this machice from booting?
Is it possible to reuse this MOBO an other componets inside a DT case using a monitor?
Plan is to use as a legacy TV DVR w/ win7 media center.
