Convert LCD laptop display to a desktop monitor

Hey Guys I am new on this board. Is it possible and if so is there a way I can converts an SXGA Laptop display panel to work as a monitor on my desktop. Thanks for your help

of couse you can ..you can even do it on tv..just throw a label..cost maybe 3 dollars...
