Confused girl with 0 knowledge in technology

Hello you guys, so as the title says - i have 0 knowledge when it comes to technology.
Anyway, i have an issue, i need a laptop. From Apple.
I was looking into macbook air 13.3” and macbook air 13”, but I don't understand the most important differences on their website, apart from the pricing and screen size (lol)..

If anyone could point me out into the direction of the best (and newest) macbook air I'd really appreciate that.
And please don't suggest Pro, as the laptop will be used mainly for leisure.

I'm quite new to this sort of stuff as well so don't worry
Anyway what's your price range also looking into refurbished macs might be an idea as well as they are often way cheaper and last just as long as brand-new.
