Conecting PS2 to Laptop for Online Play

Is there a way i can hook upmy PS2 to my laptop that i getting a wireless signal that has internet on it just using a networking cable between the laptopand PS2?

I am assuming you have a PS2 network adapter already? I don't see why it would be impossible, as long as the laptop has XP, which you can setup Internet Connection Sharing, and share the connection with the PS2. If you have wireless, you probably have a router- why not go through a direct connection to the router?
