Sounds like either a virus or you deleted some critical files, i would do what TRDCorolla suggested just start form scratch.

Exactly what I was thinking. Go TRD! Clean installs always are good to do even without an error. I could teach you guys how to purge the Windows cache on the RAM, but you might get purge happy and blow up your CPUs... then I would be to blame. maybe later...

well i kinda broke my restore cd a loooooong time ago.I would have done that like i have done before but i cant get a new cd
