Computer makes noise

My computer has started to make a noise that sounds like static it happens mabye 3 times at most a day. only for a few seconds. i wanna know wat it might be. Doesnt seem to mess up my computer but im curious. It makes static noise and my screen glitches for a second. It also does it when my phone rings. Its weird cuz it never used to do that. But now it does it more ofen.

my speakers are off and still makes noise not as loud as when they are on tho

Are you using dial-up? The comment about your phone ringing triggered that question..

I was thinking the same. I mean, if it scratches like that, and speakers are off, it has to go with the sound card. Clean your holes...there may be something conducting in there.
