If you can get your hands on a copy of Knoppix, i reccomend you do that, and then burn everything to CD, or DvD. And then totally reformat. I would have had to do the same thing, but my hard drive was still under warrentee, so i got a brand new out out of the deal . but yea thats what it seems like ur going to have to do.

Defrag your hd, run some av, spyware, etc. like people have said. get rid of unnecessary software that you have running and get rid of start up programs that you don't need.

Thanks guys, I got kaspersky Pro and Zone Alarm Pro, will I be able to host games on Warcraft III, Starcraft etc. or is there a port I need to open. I have a Linksys Router
